Tobacco was The Family Cash Crop

Tobacco was the cash crop for most family members. It was raised all over the south side of Virginia; where they lived.

The camera catches a shaft of sunlight in a field of shoulder high tobacco. I guess it is grandfather Len Waller in the background or maybe one of his sons.

Standing in a waist high field of tobacco; it must be our grandfather Len Waller on the left and it looks like Iris and Shirley (my mother) on the right. They could be killing tobacco worms.
