Sandy Smith holds her granddaughter Ava Katherine Smith, just born in late May 2004. Looks like the babe has about finished the bottle of milk. Ava is a granddaughter of my first cousin Bob Smith.

Ava is a GG-Granddaughter of Lem and Mag Waller, and she is a third cousin of my grandchildren. Third cousins seldom get to know that they are related. But I have met a couple of my fifth cousins living in Campbell County, Virginia.
