FALL 2010
Here are a couple of pictures of the fall season.
I planted these Pansies in September and they are in good bloom in late October. There is a planter on each side of our front door. The two sets of Pansies died back for freezing weather but then when it began to warm up they grew out and bloomed again in spring 2011.
Here are hundreds of persimmons on a wild persimmon tree. There have been a couple of near freezing nights in early November and I guess the fruit is ripe and sweet. I have heard that now is the time to catch a 'possum or 'coon and fatten him up on water and ripe fall persimmons to get rid of the wild taste.
