The 1 1/2 Set
This set was first sold in 1935 and remained mostly unchanged for the remainder of Gilbert Erector.
This is a 1 1/2 set from about 1950. The parts box in the lower center is covered with cellophane.
The manual for the set had no cover. The first page was the 1935 color page of the 1 1/2 models. The back page was printed with the same advertisements that the heavier manual covers were printed with. At right is the patent list included in the set.
