Jones Memorial Library (page 1)

The widow of a Civil War Soldier provided the money for this public library in his honor. It stands on Rivermont Avenue near the west end of Rivermont Bridge. The library property is bordered on all four sides by streets, and steps lead from the streets up to the library. This is the front of the library where a massive step complex starts on the sidewalk of Rivermont Avenue. The relatively small statue of Jones can be seen to the right side of the building.

This statue of Jones stands on a patio at the right end of the library.
