Miller Park (page 1)

This is a view of the entrance to the park on Grove Street. These two steps up to the sidewalk lead to the aviary. The aviary, or bird house, was where the park birds were kept. In latter years this became a library, and finally a place where crafts are sold on days in the park when festivals are held. Notice that the building has 16 sides. George Washington built a 16 sided threshing barn on one of his Mount Vernon farms.
