Monument Terrace (page 2)
Monument Terrace is actually nine terraces connected by eight steps. This is the bottom or 1st terrace, at the Church Street level, on a rainy day. The statue is of a WW1 soldier and is called "The Listening Post" or "The Doughboy".
Here are veterans standing watch at the foot of Monument Terrace. They do honor to fallen comrades of all wars by watching for the 24 hours of Veteran's Day, in shifts.
