The home of Rubye’s grandmother Mary Blackstock mentioned in the obituary. The cemetery is to the left, a short distance up the hill. The deserted home is surrounded by large old cedar trees.

 

Text Box: Rubye J Lane 2nd Lieut. A. N. C. 1906-1933 Weep not, she is not dead, but sleepeth. The Blackstock cemetery, which contains the remains of at least one Confederate Veteran, is well maintained by the family and still in use.
